Pastor Tim Bistline
My wife, Sharon, and I are thrilled to be serving the Landis Valley congregation and greater community in this season of ministry. We are excited to experience all that God has in store for each of us as we live together in a Christ-centered community focused on advancing God’s Kingdom into our neighborhoods and making disciples who follow and serve Jesus.
I am originally from Findlay, Ohio, and moved to Landisville, PA, in 1980, graduating from Hempfield High School. I finished my undergraduate degree from Temple University in Communications and Theater, and my Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary. I have served six congregations in the Lancaster County region, serving as a youth pastor, a children’s ministry director, a community outreach pastor, a discipleship pastor and a senior pastor. Sharon is originally from Farmersville, PA, and graduated from Conestoga Valley High School. She is currently employed by Fulton Bank.
We are blessed to have a small but close family… Two adult daughters, both teachers and married, and we have four granddaughters.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with our family on weekend events and vacations, reading, writing journal and blog entries, writing and recording sermons, watching movies, and spending time outdoors. I enjoy listening to music from Jazz to Classic Rock from the 60's, 70’s, and 80’s, and Contemporary Christian music from the 80’s and 90’s. I continue to dabble in playing the guitar and bass guitar.
As a pastor, it gives me great joy to help people connect with the “good news” of the story of Jesus, learning to apply God’s Word to their everyday circumstances. I appreciate opportunities to help people discover and utilize their talents and spiritual gifts to serve the church family and their “neighbors.” I enjoy networking with others, building friendships, and collaborating on creative projects in a team environment.

Tom is serving as Director of Administration.
Tom is a graduate of Elizabethtown College where he majored in Accounting. Tom has worked for Sauder Eggs for over 17 years and is currently the scheduling manager for the company. Tom has been a member of Landis Valley Christian Fellowship for over 17 years.
He also serves on the Leadership Team.
